Blue and Whites’ reserve team hosts Mancha Real at the ‘Federación’ ground

Atlético Malagueño will play host to Atlético Mancha Real tomorrow at 12 p.m. at the ‘Federación Malagueña’ ground, the 21st Third Division Group IX match of the season.

Málaga CF’s reserve team ended their eight-strong consecutive winning streak last Sunday, following a 2-1 defeat by Vélez.  The Blue and Whites share the top spot with Marbella FC, and are hoping for a win tomorrow to stay at the top of the table.  Latest signing to the team, Cris Tissone, first team player, Fernando Tissone’s brother, could form part of Sunday’s line-up, who has been in training with the reserve team since the beginning of the season.

Ernesto Cornejo is out through injury, having sustained a strained hamstring in the last match, and Rufo and Pedro Mérida are still in recovery.  Ballesta cannot count on Mosquera either, following his double yellow card in the last match against Vélez-Málaga.

Atlético Mancha Real is currently in 8th position in the table, following 11 wins, two draws and seven defeats.  In the last match, they defeated Español del Alquián by 1-0, following a last minute goal by Albertillo.  During their last encounter in the first round, Atlético Malagueño defeated Atlético Mancha Real by 1-0, thanks to a Pedro Mérida goal.

Tickets for this game are priced at one euro for Málaga CF members, and five euros for the general public.

At. Malagueño line-up: Toni and Sergio (goalkeepers), Jurado, Alberto, Álex Portillo, Cris Tissone, Víctor Ruiz (defence), Deco, Rafa, Marrufo, Pablo, Vela (midfield), Samu Castillejo, Juanpi, Mauri and Pirulo (strikers).
