Blue and White Values reach out to more young people
The MCF Foundation’s ‘Blue and White Values’ project continues teaching students in schools throughout the province of the importance of sport and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The MCF Foundation, in collaboration with #FundaciónLaCaixa, continues to influence the education of who will be our society’s future. The ‘Blue and White Values’ project remotely visits schools in the province, and this week another two enjoyed the Malaguista visit: CEIP San Sebastián and CEIP Los Llanos.
On Wednesday 17th, pupils at CEIP San Sebastián, in Casabermeja, welcomed Gonzalo Crettaz, Claudia Jiménez and Carlos García during the online meeting, representing the first team, women’s team and Supercapacitad@s School. In addition, on Thursday 18th, students at CEIP Los Llanos, de Ojén spent time with Ale Benítez, Gabriela Morales ‘Gabi’ and Cristóbal Calle.
During the sessions, the Malaguistas answered the children’s questions, talked about their experiences and how they apply the values of sport to their everyday lives.
On Wednesday, Gonzalo stressed the importance of nutrition and a balanced diet. And how, thanks to his diet, he feels better and his sporting performance has improved. Claudia talked about recognising the importance of “knowing from a young age that we’re all equal”. Then Carlos recalled his decisive goals that helped the team to win the LaLiga Genuine Santander. “It’s an honour”, he said during the meeting.
At CEIP Los Llanos, Ale Benítez talked about “hard work and perseverance”; Gabi Morales wants to be remembered “as a fighter and good teammate”, whilst Cristóbal looks forward to “dedicating his future goals”.
