Back to work for Málaga Femenino

José Herrera’s girls completed their first training session of the 2019/20 season at the Federación Malagueña de Fútbol ground with the entire squad in action plus five players from the reserve team.

New year and new life for Málaga CF Femenino, with the team returning to work today with José Herrera as first coach of the Blue and White squad.

The Federación Malagueña de Fútbol ground hosted the first training session of the season and kicked off pre-season training for the team. CEO of The Academy, Hamyan Al Thani attended this first session to get to know the new team and wish them luck for the season ahead.

A total of 17 players make up the Málaga CF Femenino squad, and all were present for today’s session. The main news of the day was reserve team player, Arantxa Medina now officially forming part of the first team.

The MCF Academy featured prominently in this first session, with the players focusing on exercises with the ball for close to two hours. Águeda, Lorena, Judith Ledesma and Olmedo represented the Blue and White reserve team and will undergo pre-season training with the first team.

MCF Academy results

This weekend’s fixture ended in a draw for Atlético Malagueño against CD El Ejido 2012, whilst Nacho’s Juvenil A claimed their third win out of three. In 7-a-side football there was a full house of victories.
