The Blue and Whites’ reserve team is up against CD San Roque de Lepe in the second qualifying match of the Second Division B promotion play-offs. The first leg kicks off on Sunday 1st June in Málaga, and the return leg a week later in Lepe (Huelva).
CD San Roque de Lepe, coached by Alejandro Ceballos, finished Group 10 in second place at the end of the season, following 22 victories, nine draws and seven defeats. They scored 60 goals, and named one of the teams that conceded the least number of goals in the Third Division, just 29.
Blue and Whites’ coach, Salva Ballesta comments: “This qualifying round will be extremely intense and at the same time productive in the development of the players, which is the most important thing. We’re up against a skilled team, who knows how to perform in these play-offs, and with good experience in Second Division B. We’re focused on competing as well as we can and seeing how far we get.”
