At. Malagueño away to UD San Pedro

The Blue and Whites’ reserve team is up against San Pedro on Sunday at 6 p.m., hoping to end the season as high up the table as possible and enjoy their pass to the promotion play-offs in the best possible way.

Coach Salva Ballesta has Pedro Mérida back in action for this match, following his suspension against Los Molinos, in which the ‘Malaguistas’ won by 3-1, thanks to goals from Rufo, Ernesto and Samu Castillejo.  This win put the boys in second place following the goalless draw between Linares Deportivo and Antequera.

UD San Pedro will be celebrating their place in Third Division Group 9 next season in front of their fans tomorrow, achieved last Thursday following their away win against Español del Alquián (4-5).

With a place in the play-offs for promotion to Second Division B in the bag, Atlético Malagueño hopes to achieve group top spot following the last two matches of the season.  Salva Ballesta’s boys are determined not to let the six points slip through their fingers, and hope that current leaders, Marbella FC, lose one or two of their games, or draw in both.

Line-up: Toni, Aarón (goalkeepers), Jurado, Alberto López, Álex Portillo, Calero (defence), Deco, Marrufo, Pablo, Ernesto, Rafa de Vicente (midfield), Rufo, Pedro Mérida, Juanpi, Samu Castillejo and Joel (strikers).
