In regard to results, #MálagaGenuine led the way, defeating Real Sporting de Gijón (0-2) and drawing with Deportivo Alavés (2-2) on Saturday, as well as enjoying another victory on Sunday against Athletic Club Fundazioa (1-2). In the ‘Grupo COMPAÑERISMO’ (Fair Play) standings, Málaga CF obtained a fantastic fourth place.
The match against Athletic was particularly special for a number of reasons. It had the greatest presence of female players in the tournament and highlighted the sportsmanship between both teams and their respective fans. In addition, the Club’s sports director was present, José Luis Pérez Caminero, who watched the match and greeted all the members of the MCF Foundation’s team.
There were also personalities from the world of sport at the tournament in Segovia, such as former Spain manager, Vicente del Bosque.
Two unique and unforgettable days at a very Genuine event, during which our team conveyed Blue and White values to the max.
