The Blue and White ‘cadete’ ends his journey with Spain’s Under-15s, playing and winning his third match with the national squad in the Albir International Tournament.
Malaguista forward, José Fernández, who plays in Málaga CF’s Cadete ‘A’ team competing in the División de Honor, ended his first experience with the U-15s in Valencia yesterday.
José, one of the MCF Academy’s most promising players, played the three games with Spain’s U-15s, accumulating minutes in all matches to help David Gordo’s side win the so-called Football Federations Cup 2021 title.
In their first match, Spain beat Poland by 1-0 with José part of the starting-11 and substituted in minute 60 of play. Spain went on to win their second game against Ireland, by 2-0, with José coming off the bench in the 40th minute. Then yesterday, as the tournament came to an end, Spain defeated Mexico by 2-0, with José joining the game in minute 76’.
