Firstly, Nordin Amrabat discusses the team: “We’re in a difficult situation, but by working hard together as a group I believe we can return to winning ways. Every member of the team is on good form, although there is a lot of pressure on us at the moment. The most important thing we need to concentrate on is winning matches. We’ll perform much better I think if we were in 14th place in the table. Every team has its problems, but the onus always has to be on winning as many games as possible. On a personal level, I don’t believe I’ve shown my full capability yet. I’m still adapting, but little by little I’ll improve and get to a higher level.”
The Moroccan international knows the importance of the next match against CA Osasuna: “The only thing the team is talking about at the moment is Monday’s game and ways in which we can improve. We’re only focused on the match against Osasuna. A lot of things can happen in football, but we’ll play as well as we can on Monday, in what is an important match for us, and hopefully come home with a win. Having patience and performing strongly as a team is key to controlling ball possession.”
Amrabat is aware that the Blue and Whites need to work as a team in order to achieve a positive result: “The atmosphere amongst the team is a good one and we’re united in our determination to win.”
Regarding becoming a permanent fixture in the team at the end of the season, Amrabat adds: “I’ve spoken to Mario (Husillos) and I’m very happy here. I’d love to go back there, but there aren’t many possibilities to play; it depends on three people. I don’t know anything about the figures surrounding the transfer, but I don’t think what the media are saying over there is true.”
