Atlético Malagueño gets ready for another direct duel – against Loja CD

This Sunday morning at 11:30, Atlético Malagueño welcomes Loja CD to the ‘Federación Malagueña’ ground, for the 29th Third Division Group 9 match of the season.

Salva Ballesta’s boys lost to Marbella last weekend by 2-1, and although they’re still in third place in the table, they’re now four points behind the leaders, Linares Deportivo.  The coach has called up all available players for this game, with six out of the line-up; four through injury and two due to suspension.

With regards to the injured players, Rufo now has medical clearance but isn’t quite match-fit; Mosquera joins striker, Mauri, suffering with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a tear to the meniscus in the left knee; and midfielder Ernesto has a grade II rupture to the right hamstring.  Alberto López and Tissone, sent off in the last match, are both suspended from tomorrow’s game.

Choco is suspended from Loja CD’s line-up tomorrow due to an accumulation of yellow cards, having received the fifth in last weekend’s 4-1 win against Español del Alquián.  The Granada-based team has scored the most goals in the group, totalling 60 so far, 18 of which were scored in the last five matches (against CD Ronda, Linares Deportivo, Marbella FC, Villacarrillo CF and Español del Alquián).  They are in fifth place in the table, three points behind the Blue and Whites.

Tickets for this match went on sale at the beginning of the week at La Rosaleda ticket offices, and will also be available on Sunday at the entrance to the ‘Federación Malagueña’ ground.  They are priced at one euro for Málaga CF season ticket holders, and five euros to the general public.
