Alejandro Calvo Mata (20th February 2004, Córdoba) is a young winger who trained at the MCF Academy. The homegrown player joined the Blue and White discipline in the 16/17 season and, since then, his game has matured within the Malaguista lower categories.
Álex made his debut with the Málaga CF first team on 11th March 2023 against UD Las Palmas. Since then, he has played 11 games in LaLiga Hypermotion wearing the Blue and White.
The player, who was facing his last season with a contract in force, will be transferred to FC Andorra. Between fixed and variables, the agreement can reach one and a half million euros, and MCF reserves 20% of a future sale to a third party.
