For the ‘Malaguista’ defender, Sunday’s match will be a special one against his ex-teammates: “I don’t like to talk a great deal before a match against former teammates and friends when I have to confront them.  It was my birthday on Monday and many of my friends there called me, but I tried to speak about personal things, not the game.”

Albentosa thinks the team has changed greatly since last year: “It’s changed quite a lot; the players, coaching team and style of play.  We’ll see how they approach this game when they come here.  We’ll try our best to claim the three points and end their winning streak.”

The Málaga CF player adds: “We have a good group.  Out of the two matches we’ve played we deserve to have more than one point.  We ran, fought and read both games well and waited for our chances.  I don’t think the points we have in the table correspond to our performance on the pitch.”

Lastly, Albentosa talks about his pairing with Angeleri, although he believes all his teammates are fighting for a place in the starting-11: “We all want to play and are working hard to earn a place.  I’ve had a good feeling being paired with Angeleri up to now, and I hope it stays that way.”
