AGAINST ALL ODDS (II): CONFIDENCE

Mia is a young Malaguista who, despite the trepidation of her first steps, insists on moving forward without fear.

Juan and Ana are a very Blue and White couple. They have worked in the Málaga Club de Fútbol stores since 2011. They are from a small village and have been living in the Costa del Sol capital for 12 years, and in the words of Juan “working in the best place possible, La Rosaleda Stadium”.

They share many things, but the most important thing up until a year ago was their love for the Club. In August 2019, their daughter Mia, arrived to divide or multiply that love and complete this family even more. Their little girl has just started walking over the past few days. "She's very stubborn, she falls over a thousand times, but she never gives up," said Juan. Her proud mother, Ana tells us about the instinct people have from the moment they’re born. "It's like she knows she can do it, she's not scared of anything."

Juan confesses that they are frightened because "you can see they’re going to fall beforehand." He says it’s "like when you see your club play and the ball doesn’t find the net, it’s difficult for them to let go of your hand and take those first steps."

Like Mía, despite the instability, the ups and the downs and the fear of falling down, Málaga Club de Fútbol gets back up every time thanks to the fans’ trust.

With ingredients such as enthusiasm, desire and that level of confidence, the wind will always blow in our favour. Against all odds we rise again. Just like Mia.
