The Málaga CF Femenino captain talks about the team’s next rival, UDG Tenerife: “We know who they are, they are a very complete team with some key people upfront”.
“I believe the team is more alive than ever. We’re in a very good dynamic, very positive after the last three games, and I think this is an enviable time for us”.
Change of ground
“We’ll have the opportunity to train there for several days to adapt to the dimensions and get to know our new ground a bit better. It’s new to us and also for the rival, so we’re on equal terms. We’re bursting with morale and confidence at the moment, and right now it doesn’t matter where we play”.
“We know they’re a difficult opponent, we were lucky enough to play a match against them during the pre-season. Although we lost, that game helped us to find ourselves, to know what we wanted to play. We know who they are, they are a very complete team with some key people upfront. However, we must focus on ourselves and go out there to win”.
Second season as captain
“Here we are all captains. Antonio has trusted me to wear the armband and hopefully I won’t let him down, much less the Club. I try to give the best of myself and help the new players to adapt so they feel at home as it’s not easy coming from far away”.
Atlético de Madrid in the Copa de la Reina
“Nothing is impossible, they’re a very tough rival, but we’re full of enthusiasm and we’re not the same team that they faced on matchday 1. We know each other much better, we’re working better and competing better, which we’ve been showing”.
