Back to work with two intense hours of training

Málaga CF resumed training this Friday morning at La Rosaleda stadium. After Muñiz granted the players a day off yesterday, the team returned to an intense two-hour training session today.

Following the usual warm-up, the team underwent various technical-tactical exercises with the ball on a cloudy morning with scattered showers throughout the first part of the session.

A total of 25 players were in training at full pace this morning, including goalkeepers Munir, Kieszek, Andrés Prieto and ‘juvenil’ keeper Gonzalo, plus 21 players counting reserve team members Iván Rodríguez, Harper, Hicham and Sergio Chica, the latter being the new addition of the day.

Haksabanovic, suffering with gastroenteritis, was absent from today’s session. Cifuentes and Mula remained in the gym to focus on recovery treatment. A clinical session is scheduled for today (medical assessment) to specify what action to take in regard to the discomfort to the right knee suffered by Juankar.

Tomorrow, Saturday at 10:00, the penultimate training session of the week will take place at La Rosaleda’s facilties.
