The event was held at the supporters’ club headquarters located on Avenida de Andalucía in Archidona, with around 100 Malaguistas in attendance, counting members of various other ‘peñas’ from this inland region.
Adrián headed up the delegation from the Club present in Archidona, together with Protocol and Institutional Relations Adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar. The president of the Federación de Peñas Malaguistas, Miguel Molina was also at this highly emotional event, with president of the host ‘peña’, David Córdoba acting as master of ceremonies.
The Blue and White player was entertained by the members of the ‘peña’ and never stopped signing autographs and taking photos, feeling the love from Archidona. As well as a commemorative plaque as ‘Malaguista of the Year’ from last season, Adrián was presented with oil from the DCOOP cooperative, as is tradition with the ‘peña’. In this case, he was gifted with oil corresponding to his weight in kilograms (80’5 on the scales). In addition, in a special video dedicated to his standout moments as a Malaguista, former Málaga CF coach, Míchel González sent a warm greeting from Mexico to his son, expressing his best wishes for the Club.
This ‘peña’ celebrates 11 years of Malaguismo with pride, passion and fervour. Congratulations Archidona!
