Málaga CF statement

#MálagaCádiz will not be postponed as a result of the absence of various Málaga CF players due to international duty, injury or suspension.

Málaga CF submitted a request to the RFEF to postpone this Saturday’s match at La Rosaleda, against Cádiz CF, although the federation has denied the Club’s request.

The Blue and Whites will affront the next LaLiga SmartBank game with four players currently on international duty: Munir, Juanpi, Mikel and Lorenzo. In addition, Adrián will not be available (federative suspension) nor will injured players or those suffering with physical discomfort, whose participation in Saturday’s game may pose a risk of greater injury. Furthermore, a number of reserve team players who are usually within the first team dynamic will also not be available, such as Keidi Bare, Hicham, Hugo or juveniles Ismael Casas and Ramón.

Therefore, in a timely manner, and in accordance with current regulations, the Club had asked the pertinent federal organisations if it would be possible to postpone Málaga-Cádiz on Saturday October 12th, at 18:00, at La Rosaleda stadium.
