The Malaguista reserve team defeated FC Vilafranca by two goals to nil on Sunday at La Rosaleda. Ruano’s boys will face CD Castellón at the weekend in the second round of Second Division B promotion play-offs.
The 3rd Andaluza Alevín boys won the Ciudad de Morón Tournament, and a combination of the 4th Andaluza Benjamín boys (A and B) won the White Eagles CUP in Varsovia (Poland). For their part, the prebenjamín team achieved a worthy second place in the Edca CUP 2016.
Atlético Málaga’s reserve team drew 1-1 with CD El Palo, to qualify for the final of the Federation Cup. The Malaguistas won by 2-3 in the first leg, and will play for the title against Atlético Benamiel. A date still hasn’t been confirmed.
