Dely Valdés team had a midweek fixture yesterday, matchday 31. They lost at El Pozuelo against CD Juventud de Torremolinos CF (2-1), despite taking the lead with a goal from Maty in 48’. The rigorous red card shown to Robles in 75’, and subsequent goals from the locals (86’ and 89’) prevented the Blue and Whites from scoring points.
This weekend the boys are heading to Jaén, Linarejos, against the always competitive Linares Deportivo. Malagueño’s aim, return to winning ways to maintain or increase their five-point lead over second-placed Almería B.
Málaga CF Femenino
Antonio Contreras’ girls are away to La Rambla on matchday 20 of the competition. The challenge, to expand the sensational run of 11 consecutive victories to stay at the top of the standings in the closing stages of regular competition.
