Various teams within Málaga CF’s ranks resume competition this weekend following the Christmas break. Malagueño, femenino and Juvenil A all kick off their 2017.
The Malaguista reserve team returns to competition to face CD Rincón on Sunday at 11:30. The match, held at the Málaga Football Federation ground, corresponds to the 21st Group IX Third Division game of the season. Manel Ruano’s boys are tied at the top of the group with Antequera CF (both with 43 points), with the match between Atlético Malagueño and Loja CD, postponed due to the rain on 4th December, still pending.
Málaga CF femenino
The Blue and Whites’ team will visit Granada CF on Sunday at 12:00, in the 15th Group IV match in the Women’s Second Division. Málaga CF, in second place with 35 points, will be seeking to clinch victory at the home ground of their main follower in the fight for the title (3rd place, Granada CF – 34 points).
Málaga CF will be in action on Wednesday against Goyu Ryu de Ceuta in the 21st Group IV match in theDivisión de Honor Juvenil. The Malaguistas are in first place with 46 points, and are firmly focused on victory to stay at the top. In addition, they will host Sevilla FC on Sunday at the Málaga Federation ground in the 22nd match of the season. The Sevilla-based rival is in second place in the table with 44 points.
