Aaron Ochoa, called up to the Ireland U-21 squad

The Málaga player has been selected by Ireland’s Under-21 national team for two qualification matches for the upcoming European Championship in this category.

This is the homegrown Malaguista’s first call-up to the Ireland U-21 side, having been a regular in the country’s youth teams in recent years.

Ochoa could make his debut in the following Group D qualification matches for the U-21 European Championship:

• Thursday 26th March: Ireland - Moldova
• Tuesday 31st March: Kazakhstan - Ireland
