A Herrero: “We have to give value to the point”

The Malaguista goalkeeper spoke to the media this Tuesday following the draw against CF Intercity. “We’ll recharge our batteries, fix what we did wrong and go all out for the next game,” he stated.

The goal is always to win

“We leave with a bitter taste as we didn’t clinch victory. Within the match that took place, we came out with one point. Personally, I’m very happy to be able to help the team achieve this.”

Poor stretch of play

“There were a few very bad minutes for us. The three interventions in the first half and the goal. After that we looked for another way to handle the game, but we weren’t on top form today.”

The point

“You have to value the point based on the way the game was played. The only way forward is to keep working hard and look at the things we have done wrong, as we always do.”

Saves that bring points

“I’m very happy to be able to contribute and help the team when they need me. I am convinced that the team is going to take a step forward and we’ll return to winning ways.”

Valuing the point

“The point is important, we must give it value. It's what we always say, it's a bit repetitive, but we have to keep working hard. This league is very long and we have many games ahead of us. We’ll recharge our batteries, fix what we did wrong and go all out for the next game.”

Same mindset in the Cup

“The objective is always to win. The team is doing a great job and we are giving people reasons to be excited. This weekend's game is very special, against a great team.”
