21 players return to training

Málaga CF was back to work this Tuesday between 17:00 and 19:00, at the Ciudad de Málaga. The first session of the week for José González’s men.

Today’s chilly session kicked off with an initial technical talk inside the stadium. The lads then worked with the ball on the pitch for an hour and 45 minutes; goalkeepers, Roberto, Prieto and the reserve team’s Kellyan, plus another 18 pitch players, with Kuzmanovic now back with the group.

Remaining in the gym today were Rolan (left hamstring strain), Lacen (strain to adductor in left leg) and Juanpi. The Blue and Whites’ number ‘10’ underwent medical tests yesterday on an injury to the semimembranosus muscle in the right leg. He will undergo specific treatment over the next few weeks, pending evolution.

Moroccan international, En-Nesyri was absent today, as well as Bueno and Peñaranda, both with the Club’s permission. The Madrid-born player was absent for bureaucratic reasons; whilst the Venezuelan is in Barcelona for a consultation with Doctor Ramón Cugat, in relation to the injury to the biceps femoris tendon in his left leg.

Tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:30, the team will resume training at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
