One of the landmark peñas in Málaga province, and also one of the oldest, the Antequera supporters’ club yesterday marked its 17th birthday. Members blew out the candles at the event, presided by the head of the peña, Carlos Márquez.
Councillors from Antequera, Eugenia Galán and Juan Álvarez attended the event, along with the president of the Federation of Málaga CF Peñas, Miguel Molina, as well as representatives from other peñas in the province, including Mollina, Alameda and Archidona.
The Peña Malaguista de Antequera has supported the Club since 1999, and has always been loyal to the Blue and Whites’ colours.
