Atlético Malagueño defeated CD Huétor Tájar (2-0) at the Malagueña Federation ground. For their part, Atlético Málaga clinched victory over CD Ciconia Negra by 3-1.

Atlético Malagueño defeated CD Huétor Tájar (2-0) in the 35th Third Division Group 9 game, held on Sunday at the Malagueña Federation ground. Manel Ruano’s boys took charge of the match from kick-off, dominating possession and arriving at the rival area, until in minute 17, Kuki Zalazar put the Blue and Whites’ team in front with an impressive shot on the half-turn, sending the ball to the back of the net. After half-time, the visitors took advantage of various counter-attacks to try and outwit the Malaguista defence, but in minute 76, a pacey display by juvenil player, En-Nesyri saw him overcome some confusion in the rival defence to increase the lead. He conquered the Huétor keeper, stepping on the ball to secure a quality finish with almost no angle. This 2-0 win keeps Malagueño in first place, tied with Atlético Mancha Real (both with 77 points).

Atlético Málaga secured victory against CD Ciconia Negra in Sunday’s match at the José Gallardo (3-1). The Malaguista players imposed their style of play from the first minutes of the game, and opened the scoring in minute 5 thanks to Encarni with a powerful shot. With little time for the visitors to react, the Malaguistas scored the second goal in minute 10. Aurora took advantage of a good pass from Saibel to head the ball into the back of the net. Noelia scored the third and final Malaguista goal in minute 36 of play to make it a 3-0 lead at half-time. In the second half, the rival stepped up their attack, which paid off as Natalia scored in minute 51 (3-1). With these three points, Atlético Málaga remain in 5^th place in Women’s Second Division Group 4 (52 points).
