The defensive pivot showed a high-performance level in last season’s games, until he sustained an injury to his Achilles’ tendon, which temporarily removed him from the pitch. Having now recovered from his physical discomfort, the midfielder is fully available to work under the orders of Míchel, and bring strength to the Malaguista midfield.

Kuzmanovic has extensive experience in top-level European football, taking part in competitions such as the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. As well as Málaga CF, he has also been part of FC Basel, Fiorentina, Stuttgart, Inter de Milán and Unidese Calcio, as well as an international with Serbia on 50 occasions, including the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
