Atlético Malagueño
The Malaguista reserve team defeated UD Dos Hermanas San Andrés (5-0) in Saturday’s match held at the Málaga Federation ground. The 5th Third Division Group 9 game of the season started off evenly, until minute 43 when Santi put Ruano’s boys in front with a superb header.
Santi again, Kike Pina, Zelu and Ontiveros scored the other four goals for Atlético Malagueño in the second half. This victory sees the Malaguista side beat their own record this season with a full house of victories since the start of the League (leaders with 15 points), and they now look forward to their next match, away to River Melilla.
Málaga CF femenino
Raúl Iznata’s girls defeated AD El Naranjo (2-4) in today’s match held in Córdoba. Estefanía opened the scoring for the Malaguistas in minute 27 of the first half, but just seven minutes later, the locals turned the score around with goals from Avilés and Laura (2-1).
The Malaguistas reacted in the second half, and it was another goal from Estefanía that levelled up the scoreboard. Cristi Postigo and Estefanía, who completed a hat trick, secured the comeback win with goals in minutes 78 and 84. Málaga CF remains undefeated following the first three games held in Women’s Second Division Group IV (3rd with 7 points).
Juvenil División de Honor
The Juvenil DH team defeated Sevilla FC by 0-6. Jony, with a hat trick, Hicham, Alberto and Escardo scored the other Malaguista goals, in a match that the Blue and Whites dominated from start to finish.
Sergio Pellicer’s team will head to Slovakia on Tuesday for the first match in the UEFA Youth League knockout stage, against FC Nitra.
