The Malaguistas end their participation in various Easter tournaments having won five titles. The Adidas Generation, Marbella Cup Soccer, Cascais Ibercup, Primer Toque and Fútbol Base Vera titles all belong to the Blue and Whites.
Adidas Generation Cup
The MCF Academy took part in this prestigious tournament in Dallas, Texas (USA), represented by two teams: a Juvenil and an Alevín. The 7-a-side squad, part of the under-12s’ category in the competition, were proclaimed champions after defeating Villarreal CF by 3-0. The Juvenil team finished in a respectable 6th place.
Cascais Ibercup Tournament
It’s one of the most renowned competitions in European grassroots football, and the Blue and Whites headed to Portugal with two teams. The Alevín won the title with a superb 8-0 win in the final against CF Os Belenenses. The Benjamín team came second after losing to FC Barcelona in the final.
V Fútbol Base Vera Tournament
Málaga CF’s Benjamín team won this tournament with a 3-2 win against Real Murcia in the final, held in Vera, Almería. On the road to the title, the Blue and Whites defeated Real Betis, Getafe CF, Granada CF and Cádiz CF, amongst others.
11th Primer Toque Fútbol Base Tournament
The Blue and Whites’ Benjamín boys were proclaimed champions of this competition held in Castellón. Málaga CF won by 7-1 in the final against CD Gavá.
Marbella Cup Soccer Femenino
The Málaga CF femenino first team won this tournament held in Marbella. Raúl Iznata’s girls defeatedCD Peña Lo Compadres by a massive 7-0. The Infantil team also competed, but was knocked out in the semi-finals.
