Willy discusses the key to achieving a positive result on Saturday: “We need to maintain a winning mentality, focus on bold play and score goals.  If we let our guard down and conform to their style of play, then we’ll concede a lot of goals.  We need to treat them as an equal, regardless of who’s in front.  On the face of it, Real Madrid are strong and Málaga are weak, however we’re confident in our ability, and despite the big names, we can win.”
 
The Blue and Whites’ captain is looking forward to welcoming the League leaders: “It’ll be an amazing game, and victory on Saturday would be a great achievement and a reward for all our hard work.  We need points, and despite Real Madrid being the rival, it’s a massive motivation for us to come up against them.  We’re going to try and make them feel as uncomfortable as possible on the pitch, as they’re such a dangerous side.”
 
The assembled media at this morning’s press conference highlight Willy’s impressive performance during the first round match, despite the rival creating a lot of goal chances: “I hope we don’t have a repeat performance of last time.  It’s crucial that we’re well prepared on Saturday, and we will be.  I hope we’re the better team this weekend and don’t let the rival create so many scoring opportunities.”
 
Willy also talks about the Argentina squad: “Nobody can take away the excitement and anticipation of returning to the national team from me.  Only the best players will get the chance to represent their country, and often the best players aren’t in the biggest clubs.”  Willy praises his compatriot: “Great things have happened to Cristiano that didn’t happen before, but Messi is Messi.”
 
As well as confronting Cristiano, ‘Malagueño’ Isco will be returning to La Rosaleda: “We’re all really looking forward to seeing him and I hope he plays a good game.  But we’re the ones who need to clinch victory.”
