Wide representation of homegrown players in morning training

Málaga CF returned to training this Wednesday morning at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. Muñiz, as usual, counted on numerous footballers from the MCF Academy in the second session of the week.

An hour and 45 minutes of work focused on the ball for the majority of the session, with finishing exercises and goal-shooting practice.

Homegrown players featured heavily again today, with juveniles Gonzalo, Iván Jaime and Hugo plus reserve team members Alberto López, Keidi Bare, Harper and Iván Rodríguez, the latter two being regular fixtures with the first team.

Dani Pacheco, who ended yesterday’s training session with some discomfort, is suffering with a hamstring tear to his left leg (pending development) and received physiotherapy treatment.

Outside the group, Lacen and Miguel Torres carried out specific work on the pitch under the supervision of physical trainer, Manu Gestoso. Juankar remained in the gym today as he continues with his recovery.

Tomorrow, Thursday from 10:00, the team will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga.
