We bid farewell to January with more ‘Blue and White Values’

Two more remote meetings took place in the last week of the month. CEIP Profesor Tierno Galván and CEIP Maestro José Durán featured this time around.

‘Blue and White Values’, the initiative by the MCF Foundation and #FundaciónlaCaixa, continues to reach students all over the province. This week, another two schools were involved in the remote sessions: CEIP Profesor Tierno Galván in El Cónsul, and CEIP Maestro José Durán in Almargen.

On Wednesday 27th, pupils from CEIP Profesor Tierno Galván learnt about ‘Blue and White Values’ from goalkeepers Dani Barrio and Lucía Martín, from the first team and women’s first team, as well as José Carlos from the Supercapacitad@s School.

The following day, Thursday 28th, it was the students from CEIP Maestro José Durán who shared a class with Malaguista players Caye Quintana, María Farfán and Cristian Verdugo. Also present was Yolanda Solero, head of Social Action in Eastern Andalucía at CaixaBank.

“Look after your diet, your body and your mind. And, above all, take good care of yourself and your families during these difficult times. We hope everything will soon be resolved and we can’t wait to see you back at La Rosaleda. That would be a good sign and we can all hug each other”.

“Our commitment is here, and we must thank the MCF Foundation for this project. This will teach you some values, how kids who started out dreaming of playing football made the team and made their passion their job. Thank you to all the teachers, who are doing an exceptional job during this health crisis, and to all the students, who are doing their best despite the masks and the cold”.
