In this second month of the year, Málaga Femenino have four games coming up that will decide part of their future in the 20/21 season in Reto Iberdrola.
Nati Gutiérrez’s girls kicked off February in training this morning at the Cártama municipal ground, where at the weekend they will be in action on matchday 12 of Group Sur ‘A’ in the first phase of the competition against UDG Granadilla Tenerife ‘B’.
After starting the second round of the league obtaining five of the nine points at stake, with draws against Juan Grande (0-0) and Granada (1-1) and an away win against La Solana (2-3), the Blue and Whites were not in competition last weekend.
From today, the Malaguistas begin a true tour de force jam-packed with training sessions and matches, as long as COVID-19 allows. The next rival, UDG Granadilla Tenerife ‘B’, are four points in front with a match in hand in 5th place in the standings. Pozoalbense and Córdoba, away from home, and Cáceres in Cártama are the upcoming rivals in February, brining an end to the first part of the season.
