“Thanks for the support during the 90 minutes. We had a tough time at the end and the fans’ support at this time spurred us on to return to the other end of the pitch. It’s been shown that with the fans behind us the team is stronger. We were up against a top-level rival, with players who makes full use of the goals they score…we knew it would be a hard match, interesting and vibrant. Up until the last minute both teams turned to the rival area. Two teams that compete well, work hard and who will be in the top part of the standings”.

“There are many positive readings. It was a good game, a good first half. We played a lot of time in the attacking half against a great team, we didn’t throw the towel in at the last minute, even though we knew of the danger in the opponent’s attacks. It was a fairly complete match on all lines to minimise Deportivo’s danger. I like to be positive. I like to see the good things the team has done, we keep adding points and are still close to the objective. The category is very tight. I always look for the positives. Positive people achieve things, negative people don’t, but always taking into account that to achieve success you first have to work hard and put the effort in”.

The team had chances to score, we did everything possible to net a goal.
