The ‘Malaguista’ representation was headed up by first team player, Marcos Angeleri, accompanied by Atlético Málaga goalkeeper, Chelsea, and on behalf of the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Sebastián Fernández ‘Basti’. Daniel Gallardo, the branch director of CaixaBank was also present.
Rubén Castillo (La Academia) was the master of ceremonies at the simple event held at the school within the city centre, with the school’s director, Pablo Antonio García Yáñez in attendance. Approximately 120 children enjoyed the the presence of Angeleri in particular, who warmly greeted them following the event.
“It’s important to get close to the future of our society and do our bit,” says Angeleri to MCFTV. Whilst Chelsea comments on the female side of sport: “I’m here to encourage the girls, not just to play football, but to practice sport in general.”
