Víctor Gómez, called-up to the Under-21s

The Blue and White right-back has been called-up by Spain for two qualifiers for the European Under-21 Championship taking place in 2023.

Víctor, a regular with ‘La Roja’ in recent seasons, has been rewarded for his excellent start to the 21/22 season with Málaga CF in LaLiga SmartBank.

Coach Luis de la Fuente will count on the Malaguista number ‘2’ in the second window of matches, corresponding to the qualifying stage of the upcoming European Under-21 Championship.

Spain will be in action at home, at La Cartuja stadium (Sevilla), on 8th and 12th October against Slovakia and Northern Ireland respectively. Both games will kick-off at 20.45.
