Juande Rivas took part in a press conference during the week the team is preparing for LaLiga SmartBank matchday 8. The defender analyses the Blue and Whites’ start to the competition: “The team has performed pretty well in all the games up to now. Yes, it’s proving difficult for us to earn points away from home, but these are the circumstances of the season. We’re strong at home so we must keep that up and do better in away games.” He added that “the line of work is good” and “the team has shown it can compete against any rival.”
“The results will come with the work we’re doing. The team has good gameplay, there’s a lot of unity and great sacrifice,” said the player who is “comfortable” in his current role.
Speaking about the fans he added: “It’s so important that the fans are with us, supporting us. After these two defeats, we are determined to turn the situation around and clinch victory. The season has only just started so we need to stay calm, yet we’re going for the win to change the dynamic,” he stated.
Finally, in regard to Fuenlabrada, Juande commented: “It’s going to be a very difficult match, as they all are in this category. CF Fuenlabrada are a tough rival, but we’ll maintain our DNA, pressure and ambition. We want to make the fans happy and return to winning ways.”
