Valencia CF – Málaga CF match preview

Málaga Club de Fútbol is away to Valencia Club de Fútbol on Saturday 17th October (Mestalla, 10 p.m.) for the 8th BBVA League match of the 2015/16 season.

The Blue and Whites (16th place, 6 points) will be hoping to secure their first away win of the season, against a 10th placed Valencia in the table, with 9 points.

These two rivals have battled it out in 14 League games at Mestalla (as MCF), resulting in three draws for the ‘Malaguistas’ and 11 local wins.  Málaga’s last positive result in Valencia was a 1-1 draw in the 23rd match of the 2008/09 season.  The last visit, in 2014/15, resulted in a defeat by 3-0, thanks to goals from Alcácer, Parejo -pen- and Piatti.

To take into account:

Camacho, if he plays, will reach 150 matches in the First Division.  He has racked up 149 games in the elite, (30 with Atlético de Madrid and 119 with MCF).

Charles, if he takes part in the match, will total 350 games in Spanish competition (64 in the First Division, 139 in the Second and 146 in Second B), with Pontevedra, Almería, Córdoba, Celta de Vigo and Málaga CF.

Duda (36 goals), if he scores, he will equal the mighty Darío Silva (37), as the 5th highest goal-scorer in MCF history in all competitions.
