The pre-match session focused on various exercises with the ball taking centre stage, and 26 players in action. Goalkeepers Munir, Prieto and homegrown keeper Gonzalo, plus 23 players including reserve team members Hicham, Harper, Abqar and Iván Rodríguez, were in training at full pace.

Miguel Torres, who is continuing with his recovery process (right ankle injury) remained in the gym, the only absent player from the Blue and Whites’ team on medical grounds.

Following training, around 10:15, the players called-up by Muñiz began their journey to Lugo on the AVE train to Madrid, and then on to Galicia by coach.
