Training returns to La Rosaleda

Back to work for the team at the Blue and White stadium, for the second day on the bounce, with the same players in action as yesterday.

As usual, José Alberto López prioritised technical-tactical work with the ball in today’s session, as well as an intense mini-match using three quarters of the pitch.

In regard to names, there were no changes compared to Thursday’s session. A total of 24 players were in action under the coach’s orders, seven from Atlético Malagueño, namely: Santos, Haitam, Roberto, Ismael G., Larrubia, Moussa and Álex Rico (in the above image, along with Cufré).

Escassi, Paulino and reserve team player, Kevin trained outside the group today, again in the gym undergoing preventive training due to their physical discomfort. Absent this morning were Víctor Gómez (Spain’s Under-21s) and injured Chavarría and Luis Muñoz.

The penultimate session of the week will get underway at 10:30 tomorrow, Saturday at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
