José Alberto’s session this morning was not as intense as the past two days. The session included mini foot-tennis matches in groups and various technical exercises with the ball.
Under the coach’s orders today were 19 professional players, including Escassi and Paulino plus another four from the reserve team: goalkeeper, Santos; midfielder, Ismael Gutiérrez; striker, Roberto; and winger, Kevin, who returns to the group.
Pablo Chavarría stepped on to the pitch to undergo solitary continuous running. Víctor Gómez, who last night wasn’t in action with Spain’s Under-21s, and Luis Muñoz, suffering with long-term injury, were the absent players.
Tomorrow, Sunday at 10:30, the final session of the week will get underway at La Rosaleda Stadium’s facilities.
