Málaga CF returned to training this morning at La Rosaleda’s Annexe following yesterday’s return from Gijón. Genaro stepped on to the pitch, although he continued his recovery outside the group.
It’s a short yet intense week for Málaga CF. Today, 31st January is deadline day and on Friday the team will open LaLiga SmartBank matchday 26 against Real Oviedo.
After returning from Gijón yesterday, arriving at La Rosaleda at 19:00, the team has returned to training at the Martiricos stadium’s Annexe. The session kicked off with a video then the available players moved on to the pitch under the orders of Pellicer and his coaching team (11:30). As well as the regular homegrown players in first team training, Murillo and Rafa were also in action today.
Juande, Chavarría, Delmás and Escassi continued with their respective recoveries along with long-term injured Haitam, Olmo and Moussa. On a positive note, Genaro, although he is still continuing with his recovery, underwent part of the session on the pitch outside the group, under Enrique Ruiz’s orders.
The team is called-up for another training session tomorrow at La Rosaleda at 11:00, to continue preparations for #MálagaRealOviedo.
