After the draw yesterday at Ipurua against SD Eibar (2-2), the Malaguista squad was in training this Sunday morning at the Lezama facilities, loaned by Athletic Club for the session.

The starting players from #EibarMálaga took part in recovery training for around an hour, undergoing running and stretching exercises on the pitch. The rest of the players on the Malaguista expedition had a more active session, with crosses and goal-shooting practice, as well as matches in reduced spaces.

The lads are now focused on the next match, the second round of the Copa del Rey, which will see Málaga CF in action on Tuesday at 20:00 against CF Rayo Majadahonda at the Cerro del Espino.

Following the session, the team returned to Gran Hotel Bilbao to have lunch, and will then head to Bilbao airport to fly back to Málaga at 17:30.

An afternoon training session is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday at 16:30 at La Rosaleda, followed by a press conference by José Alberto López before #RayoMajadahondaMálaga.
