The team alternated between physical activation exercises and technical work with the ball, kicking off at 16:30, for just over an hour.
In regard to absences, Luis Muñoz, Ramón, Juande, Jozabed and reserve team member Kevin continued with their respective recovery processes. Ismael Gutiérrez, who was absent from Ipurua due to a sprained right ankle, won’t be fit for tomorrow’s game. Nor will Antoñín, who missed out on Eibar due to a viral infection, and he also has an inflamed right knee. Paulino, meanwhile, is suffering with bilateral bacterial pneumonia (pending evolution).
There were numerous homegrown players in first team training today, as usual, with the return of Haitam and Larrubia, plus Santos, Andrés Caro, Moussa, Roberto and Dani Lorenzo.
Tomorrow morning, the called-up players will travel by AVE train to Madrid. At 20:00, #RayoMajadahondaMálaga will get underway, corresponding to the second round of the Copa del Rey. Following the game, the team will return to Málaga by bus, and in the afternoon (16:30), another training session is scheduled at La Rosaleda.
