The fourth 'Malaguistas to the Core’ of the current season arrived at La Rosaleda from Torrox. 'The best climate in Europe' headed to La Rosaleda for #MálagaLevante.

The 50 kilometres that separate the beautiful Axarquía municipality from the Martiricos stadium didn’t stop the residents of Torrox from bringing a unique atmosphere to La Rosaleda. The team and the 23,008 fans were full of optimism for this important match, against one of the favourites for promotion to the First Division.

The first to arrive were dozens of students from various schools and sports clubs in the municipality, who received the Malaguista home shirt as soon as they got off the bus. Now dressed in Blue and White, they took their seats in Tribuna Alta from where they watched #MálagaLevante.

Simultaneously, 10 lucky people enjoyed the VIP Experience together with Sebastián Fernández Reyes 'Basti' from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, welcoming the Malaguista team on arrival and watching the warm-up on the pitch.

During the run-up to play and also during half-time. a promotional advert for Torrox was projected on La Rosaleda’s video scoreboards, accompanied by a mention on the speaker to highlight the charms of the municipality: its wonderful Mediterranean climate, Ferrara beach, Las Dunas beach and El Cenicero, as well as the Mediterranean gastronomy, in which the usual 'pescaítos' and ‘migas’ stand out.

All this was reflected in the promotional stand on the first floor of the Tribuna VIP Area, where informative brochures of the main tourist attractions were distributed, as well as merchandising from the municipality.

Torrox’s institutional representation featured mayor Óscar Medina España, and José Manuel Fernández Nieto, Councillor for Sports, who watched the match in the ‘palco de honor’ together with others who regularly attend La Rosaleda.

The little ones from Torrox were also starred in the Escort Kids feature during #MálagaLevante. The Blue and White players took to the pitch hand in hand with the boys and girls of the municipality. In addition, the Axarquía town also appeared on the LED perimeter billboards of the U-television.

The Peña Malaguista Conejito de Torrox ‘Duda 17’ – established for over 20 years – was also present for this game. In addition to accompanying the team when we play away from Málaga, they also visit La Rosaleda.

The fourth ‘Malaguistas to the Core’ of the 2022/23 season, after Nerja, Alhaurín de la Torre and Rincón de la Victoria. A campaign fostered by the great relationship between Málaga CF and the Diputación Provincial de Málaga, the Club's main sponsor, and which aims to instil Malaguismo in all corners of the province. The next Costa del Sol municipality to visit La Rosaleda is Frigiliana!

Thank you for being ‘Malaguistas de Core’, Torrox!
