“To achieve difficult things, you have to fight until the end”

Málaga CF goalkeeper, Munir appeared in the mixed zone following #GranadaMálaga, where he stressed there’s still a long way to go in the league competition: “Right now everything looks black, but it’s very tight and this is football, anything can happen”.

27 points at stake

“The truth is it’s a harsh defeat, we were incredibly excited, full of enthusiasm. The team prepared well to win the three points, but it wasn’t to be. In the end you have to focus on the positives. There are 27 points still in play, nothing is impossible, nobody said this would be easy. To achieve difficult things, you have to give your all and fight until the end”.

#GranadaMálaga

“Two jugs of cold water in two key moments of play, against a rival who we know when they score a goal it becomes difficult, much like us. In the second half, and after the expulsion the team reacted pretty well, put on a proud performance, fought until the end and even with 10 men we generated the best moments of the match. We need to remain with that, the positive part of that reaction, and that’s the version we have to convey from here until the end of the season”.

Trust

“We must fight until the end. Right now everything looks black, but it’s very tight and this is football, anything can happen. If we win next week and Granada lose, we’ll get to within three points of them and we’ll still have options until the end. We must continue trusting in this group”.
