Tissone: “We believe in what we’re doing; the results will come”
Málaga Club de Fútbol player, Fernando Tissone, this morning spoke to the media at a press conference at the 'Ciudad de Málaga' Athletics Stadium.
Firstly, Tissone made reference to the Copa del Rey: “What happened against Osasuna was tough, but we’re working hard during the week; we’re messing up in some minutes and we have to improve some aspects, such as our focus; we’re convinced in what we’re doing. We can’t stop believing in ourselves. We believe in what we’re doing; the results will come.”
The Argentinean-born midfielder addressed the fans’ criticism: “If the team’s not playing well, the criticism is fair, but the fans should know that we’re not giving up and we’ll try and get better results. When I’m playing, I isolate myself from the shouts, both the good and the bad ones; I’m very involved in the match and I don’t think about anything else.”
Tissone trusts that the team will improve and will achieve better results. “There’s not a lack of quality in this team, there small moments in matches in which we relax and that’s what we need to work on.”
Regarding his role within the team, the Malaguista expressed his satisfaction: “I feel good and when I’m playing I feel comfortable; I can play in anywhere. I feel good with all my teammates. I still feel happy with my performance and continue working with enthusiasm and intensity.”
Lastly, Tissone, analysed Saturday’s match against Getafe. “They’re a good rival with players who’ve been playing for years and who are very tight; they’ll make it difficult for us. It’s too soon to talk of a final. They’re important points, but it’s not a final.”
