MCFTV collected several testimonies from the stars of the exciting and beautiful gala for the MCF Foundation’s 5th #SiempreFuerte Awards.
One of the most recognisable faces of the event was and is Cristina Zumaquero, who has been presenting the gala for four years with her inseparable Basti. “I was so moved, we’ve experienced rollercoasters of emotions and feelings. There are moments that will go down in history,” said the Málaga journalist, who wore an elegant blue dress by haute couture fashion designer, Jesús Segado.
Humour, charisma and solidarity define a very special actor and comedian from Málaga. So much so that he won the #SiempreFuerte Special Award dedicated to the memory of a good friend whose spirit is still present. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to remember the figure of Pablo Ráez, who I believe is one of our prophets here in Malaga,” said Dani Rovira, decorated on numerous occasions during his brilliant professional career. “For me this is one of the most special recognitions I have had, because when things come from the heart, they reach the heart,” he said.
Cristóbal Ortega, Provincial Deputy for Sports and the Environment at the Diputación Provincial de Málaga also said a few words. “It’s been a very exciting gala, celebrating Pablo Ráez and the legacy he left us. Teaching us to stay strong and stick together in the hope that everything will turn out well,” he declared, linking his speech to sport. “What a beautiful day, which should serve Malaguismo. We must stay united and strong,” he added, representing Málaga Club de Fútbol’s main sponsor this season.
The father of the star of each edition of the awards, a proud Paco Ráez.“The legacy belongs to everyone. Society has made him (Pablo) its own and I cannot be more grateful to Málaga and these awards, which are more beautiful and emotional every year. I’m grateful for all I have,” he said, visibly emotional.
