The fifth #SiempreFuerte Awards gala was bursting with emotion, hosted by the magnificent presenting due of Cristina Zumaquero and Sebastián Fernández ‘Basti’. The musical entertainment at the beginning, La Mari, Lorena Hermoso, the ‘#SiempreFuerte Applause’, the award-winning personalities…They all contributed a part of what Pablo Ráez taught them. Solidarity, responsibility, commitment, enthusiasm, effort and overcoming adversity. Once again, the fifth #SiempreFuerte Awards had a special magic.
This unique energy is conveyed within Málaga society each day by the three award-winning entities. INPAVI Málaga was the first to go on stage. Alejandro Rodríguez, Marketing Director of Burger King, and Francisco Tinahones, Scientific Director of IBIMA Bionand Platform, presented Lorena Hermoso’s work to Susana García, president of INPAVI Spain. Disadvantaged families in Málaga receive support from the socio-educational actions organised by INPAVI, aiming to seek change and social transformation for their members. For them, Pablo Ráez is an example of the attitude that they need to keep improving every day.
DEBRA Piel de Mariposa followed in the footsteps of INPAVI Málaga. In this case, Guillermo Peiró, manager of Museo Picasso Málaga, and Luis Merino, president of Fundación El Pimpi presented the award to Carmen Aranda, a volunteer of the award-winning entity. Highlighting the harsh reality of the numerous families in Málaga impacted by this disease, with 10 out of every million people affected. And there’s still no cure. Like DEBRA Piel de Mariposa, the MCF Foundation believes it’s essential that the welfare of Málaga society encompasses both the majorities and, in this case, minorities. Despite the fragility of the skin of people suffering from this disease, everyone at DEBRA knows that they want “kisses and hugs” and for their daily lives to improve. Pablo’s legacy ensures they remain #SiempreFuerte.
To conclude with the 2021 Social Entity Awards, Fundación César Ramírez Bisturí Solidario was next to take to the stage at the auditorium. It was César Ramírez himself, president of the foundation, who collected the award from Iris de Palacio, brand manager of San Miguel in Andalucía. In this case, the #SiempreFuerte slogan comes from Malaga and breaks borders. In Liberia, Bisturí Solidario treated 152 patients in 226 interventions. A clear example, as our dear Pablo said, that giving up should never be an option. In Málaga, Liberia or anywhere, the Fundación César Ramírez Bisturí Solidario remains #Siempre Fuerte.
INPAVI Málaga, DEBRA Piel de Mariposa and Fundación César Ramírez Bisturí Solidario have stood out for their hard work and for their contribution to society. Even so, the best part about these entities is not what they have done, but what they are yet to do. Solidarity and commitment to continue #Siempre Fuerte year after year. What a great awards ceremony you gave us, thank you for your role in society!
