Who says there’s no carnival this year? Of course there is! The great voices and the best lyricists delight us with their repertoires and true musical gems. Naturally, all on screen and adhering to the security measures.

Málaga CF, through its Foundation and the Fundación del Carnaval held a competition to find the best ‘Copla Malaguista’. Via social media, both entities called on Blue and White fans to show off their carnival skills and dedicate a piece to their beloved team.

The result? What a great response! Over a dozen musicians sent their compositions, out of which three finalists were chosen.

The official judging panel for this competition – made up of Málaga CF captain, David Lombán, Málaga CF Femenino player, Arancha and member of the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’ – named the Paco and Hugo father and son duo as the winners!
