The Blue and Whites will kick-off the League competition the weekend of 11th September in the Group Sur of the Segunda Federación division.
The RFEF announced the match calendar this Friday for the bronze division, made up of two groups; Norte and Sur. Málaga CF Femenino are in the latter, along with another 15 teams, namely:
Valencia Féminas CF ‘B’, UD Almería, CD Pozoalbense Femenino, Real Unión de Tenerife Santa Cruz, CD Femarguín, Fundación Canaria CD Tenerife, Real Betis Balompié ‘B’, Balears FC, CF Unión Viera, Levante UD ‘B’, CF Femenino Cáceres Atlético, FF La Solana Quesos La Casota, CD Santa Teresa, CFF Albacete and Madrid CFF ‘B’.
The competition will get underway in less than a month, on 11th September, at home against Valencia CF’s reserve team. The regular league consists of 30 matches, with the first round coming to a close at the end of January next year. MCFF will end the competition at home, against Unión Viera, on 21st May 2023. The aim, to claim the top spot to directly move up to Primera Federación (beforehand known as Reto Iberdrola).
Nacho Pérez’s team is immersed in the second week of the pre-season, training at the Francisco Romero ground in Rincón de la Victoria. Last Tuesday, at Puerto Serrano (Cádiz), they played their first summer friendly against Betis B, losing 1-0 – above image.
