The MCF Camp 2023 is here

Málaga CF presented the Semana Blanca and Easter Camps today, taking place in various locations throughout the province in February, March and April 2023.

La Rosaleda Stadium hosted the official presentation of the upcoming MCF Camp in which, with the support of the Diputación de Málaga, the Club once again takes to the province to promote Malaguismo and enhance sporting values to the young ones.

Between 27th February and 3rd March 2023, Alozaina, Frigiliana and Manilva will host the Camps during Semana Blanca. Then from 2nd to 6th April, it will be the turn of Benahavís, Cuevas Bajas and Torrox over Easter.

At the presentation was Blue and White player Cristian Gutiérrez, born in Marbella, who talked about how “when I was young these Camps served to make you see how everything works.” José María Muñoz (MCF Judicial Administrator) and Manolo Gaspar (MCF Sporting Director) also attended the presentation, along with Francisco Martín Aguilar, Málaga CF’s Protocol and Institutional Relations adviser, who stressed the importance of “bringing the Club closer to the province and promoting the values” of the Blue and White entity.

Borja Vivas, director of sport at the Diputación de Málaga also spoke to the media, pleased at the collaboration with the Club. “For us it’s a pleasure to support the team of our province and promote grassroots football,” he affirmed.

In addition, there was an extensive political representation in attendance from the municipalities and towns of the province that will host the camps. At the head, the mayors of Alozaina (Antonio Pérez) and Cuevas Bajas (Manuel Lara); Diego Jiménez, deputy mayor of Manilva; José Manuel Fernández, Councillor for Sport in Torrox; and Román González, Benahavís Sports Coordinator.
